  1. Asphyxiation due to strangulation with a ligature
  2. Blood loss from penetrating wound…..


The body was partially wrapped in a grey wool coat.

External examination:
...the body is that of a young woman in her early to mid-twenties... extensive bruising and laceration... Injuries with no bruising and minimal evidence of bleeding... damage to soft tissues of face…left eye removed and right eye severely damaged... bruising around the neck suggests that the ligature was tightened and released several times...
